Baptism and Hunting Eggs

We usually start the whole "hunting eggs" thing a few weeks prior to Easter just to get everybody perfected before Easter. Anna will be with her mom this year for Easter so we did our hunting eggs this past weekend at Casey's moms house. No matter how old you are, dying, hiding, and finding eggs never gets old!!!

We hid 42 plastic eggs first!!!

Then dyed a dozen real eggs.....

and finally hid and found 25 plastic eggs and a dozen real ones.... neadless to say kids had a blast!!! (and so did we)

Sunday was one of the happiest days in a parent's life.... one of your children giving their heart to the Lord and getting baptized. Anna has begged and pleaded to get baptized for over a month now and after talking to us and the preacher, we all decided she was definitely ready.... so yesterday all her family gathered at Journey Church for an exciting day.

She was so excited all day!!!!

Sunday was also an exciting day for us as a family.... We became official members of Journey Church. We have been going for over a year now and life couldn't be better. We know this is where God wants us to be.

After the church service, we all headed over to Roger's Green House for our church Easter Egg hunt. It was the perfect day to be outside!!!

We are so blessed!!! Hope you all have a great week and a Happy Easter!!!

Where does the time go???

Last time I posted, I titled it "So long February"..... Well, now its time to say "So long March".... Life these days is surely flying by and I cant believe its been almost a month since my last post. Even though we have accomplished alot over the past month, I don't have very many pictures to prove it. Our month has consisted of Relay meetings, school projects, boring spring break without our Anna, birthday parties, lots of church activites, and mommy and daddy working way too much!!! We have 1 month from today till Relay gets here and then hopefully life will slow down a little bit. Its my favorite time of the year but I am sure exhausted when the night finally gets here!!! Here are a few pics from the last month.... hopefully it won't be so long before I come back with more!!

My little cowboy at his cousin's birthday party. It was so much fun.... Spacejump, pony ride, and a pinata. I may be a little biast but I thought he was the cutiest most handsome one there!!

My friend Brandi's little boy Tripp... He had a death grip on that pony. :)
Cayson and his cousin Kayden Padgett

Yes, me and my friends Jennifer and Denise are married to these 3 men. They play WOW (World of Warcraft) one night a week (usually more) till early morning. Thursday night of Spring Break we all went to Jennifer and Jason's house for "WOW Night" until about 1:30 a.m. The guys played at the kitchen table and us girls played with the kiddos and watched Burlesque..... 30 year old male nerds!! :)

Family Fun night at Journey Church!! We ablsolutely LOVE our new church home. We will be officially joining the church next month when my sweet Anna gets baptized!!!

Anna's new favorite thing... her high heels!! These were a little happy from Casey's dad and I have to say Anna has wanted to wear them EVERYWHERE!!

**This last picture is a pure embarrassment for Cayson but I can't help but share it!! I know he will kill me for this picture in several years (along with several others)!!!
WHO NEEDS TOYS IN THE BATHTUB????

Have a great week!!!

What we been up to...

I tried to narrow the pics down from the past week but this is a warning.... "LOTS of pics!!"

I wouldn't normally post a pic like this of my baby but since she had a good laugh about it too, I think its ok. Anna had 4 teeth pulled last week so she was home from school Thursday and Friday. She was such a GREAT patient.... but unfortunately this is how she looked most of the day Thursday.

Luckily, Saturday she was much better so we could go on our trip to Louisiana... Although Cayson woke up with a cough, we loaded up (with the breathing machine and cough medicine) and headed out. Our crew consist of me, Casey, Anna, Cayson, The Sullins (Lacy, Bryce, Cruz, Jax), The Robinsons (Lauren, Clark, Brooke, and Tyler)!!

We started off at the Global Wildlife Center (that we will definitely go back to) then us and the Robinson's ended up in New Orleans for a parade (that was not family friendly)!! The website said "great for the whole family" but what it really meant was everybody over the age of 21... thankfully, our kids weren't really old enough to realize what they were looking at. We were in New Orleans at night so you can only imagine!! All together, we had a GREAT trip!!

 Baby Tyler was definitely ready!!
 Anna and Brooke

 The boys!
not sure why Cayson looks so unhappy in this pic....
the kids table at "The Gumbo Pot" in New Orleans... GREAT food!!
 Parade

After we got home Saturday night, Cayson had a fever of 102 and kept it till Sunday morning. We went straight to the doc Sunday and of course... flu positive!! We had done so well keeping it out of our house until now! It has ran in and locked the doors... Cayson - Sunday, Me - Wednesday, Anna - Thursday, Cayson relapse - Thursday.... Its finally making its way out of our house. Casey has been the only lucky one (knock on wood)!
We are hoping to get out of the house tomorrow to go see Scooby Doo at Ghatti Town in Hattiesburg and then a mardis gras parade in Waveland on Sunday... We will see how everyone feels in the morning.
Have a great weekend, be back soon!!
