Lately.....

Yes, I am the worst blogger ever!!! It has almost been 2 months since my last post... not because nothing has been going on but NO time to stop and type. I have started several blogs but didn't have time to finish them. Then to take the time to download the pics off my camera, its been too crazy for that!!

Well, I am here now with lots of good cute pics of my babies, family, and friends. We have stayed super busy over the past month and a half so I will just do a small recap with few words and lots of pictures!!!

I will go all the way back to 4th of July.... We went to the firework show at the mall then shot fireworks at our house on the 4th... not many pictures from this event but the ones I have say it all.... Kids love fireworks!!

Then came my hubby's 33rd birthday party!! He was not thrilled about turning 33 so to help him enjoy his day, I invited several of his friends and our families over for supper, cake, and ice cream. We partied (7 adults playing phase 10) till midnight that night. It was the most fun we have had in a while.

He wouldn't let me order a cake.... This is homemade from his mom!!! It was delicious!!!

That same weekend we had 2 other parties for some friends of ours that we go to church with. I only managed to take my camera to one of them. This is Caleb Bustin's party (Our friends Jana and Mikey's little boy). Kids had a ball!!!

We actually had a mother/daughterS date to eat at Landrum's Country one Thursday night for my Mt Vernon's womens fellowship class. The food and fellowship was great!!!

Mine and my sister Lacy's shopping adventure with 3 kids... it was interesting!!!

Then we had the dreaded 5th's disease come to our house... This picture doesn't do it justice but my poor baby's face was so red for about 4 days then it spread to his limbs. It is extremely hard to get rid off but supposedly they are only contagious before they break out.... which makes no sense to me!!

Thankfully it is gone and we hope it NEVER comes back!!!

1st day of 3rd grade!!! I put Casey in charge of the "1st day of school pics" so thats why it looks so dark. The other one I have was taken outside and the sun made her have a terrible look on her face so this will have to do.

A dentist visit for Anna to get 2 fillings... The gas made her SO loopy, it was hysterical!!!

This past weekend we went camping with a few friends from church (Jana & Mikey Bustin and Craig & GeorgeAnn Walters). We went to Paul B in Hattiesburg and had a blast!!!

The 4 of us stayed up till after midnight partying hard....lol (playing scrabble)

Thanks for bearing with me as I took you through the last month and a half... Sorry it is so long but I will TRY to do better. Right now our weeks consist of school/work, supper, homework, baths, and bedtime. Not much to blog about that....except that we love our family time with our 2 kiddos!!!!

We have started playing board games with them at least a few nights a week and it is so much fun!!!

It's Over!!!

Well we survived our first year of t-ball. With only a few tantrums thrown, I believe Cayson enjoyed himself. We had our last game this past Saturday and the best part of the season was that he received his very first trophy!!! He was the cutest little thing grinning from ear to ear after they gave it to him. I am so proud!!!

Even though it was alot of fun for me and him both, I am sure glad its OVER!!!

Now for some really exciting news.... Cayson can swim by himself with floaties!!!

I know this is usually normal for a 3 (almost 4) year old but we have had major issues with water!! He has been terrified of swimming up until about 2 weeks ago. We could not convince him that the floaties would hold him above water. Finally, I just did the "bad mother" thing and let him go. Yes, he screamed for about 10 minutes but once he realized he was still floating, he was great!!!

FATHER'S DAY

(Kinda got this topic out of order.....)

My plans for Casey on Father's Day was to take him to eat at Outback just the 4 of us. Well, he cancelled my plans and made his own.... Chucky Cheese. Yes, we celebrated Father's Day on Saturday night at Chucky Cheese with our 2 wonderful kids. Once it was over, I was so glad he made me change our plans. We all had a blast!!! The great father that he is wanted nothing for Father's Day except to see his kids have a great time.... and that is exactly what we did!!!

Quick Hello!!

Not much time to write alot but just thought I would leave you with pictures of my two precious babies. I have been slacking on my picture taking here lately but thanks to the camera (Canon PowerShot 14.1 mega pixels) that we bought my mother-in-law (that i have been borrowing for 2 weeks), its been easy to carry it around in my pocket at all times. My Rebel is fantastic dont get me wrong, but its a little bulky to carry around with you every where. I hope to purchase my own little camera very soon. Enjoy and have a great weekend!!!

MOVING!!

Hey All!!! Can't believe its been a whole month since my last post, but I promise I have a real good excuse.... MOVING!!! We have bought a house so over the past month, we have remodeled and moved into a house (which I have to say is the most stressful thing I have ever had to do). I never realized how much junk me, Casey, and the kids have until now. Its ridiculous!!! After looking through all the toys, clothes, and just junk my kids own, I have realized just how lucky and blessed we are to be able to provide pretty much anything they could possibly want. Yea, you could say they are a little spoiled but being able to go buy "almost" anything they want, is a TRUE BLESSING. Not every family has that luxury. I have pics of the new house but have had very little time to do anything that doesn't involve painting, packing, loading, and unpacking. I did manage to upload these 2 that were taken right after we got through painting the walls and staining the concrete.

These pics don't do it justice.... you should have seen the carpet we started with, YIKES!! This was a very easy thing to do... minus the mishap we have had with little (some big) white spots that have started showing up all over the house..... hopefully nothing a few rugs cant fix!!!

We are almost through.... still living out of some boxes but I think I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Hope everyone is having a great summer so far (despite the terrible heat).
